Meet the Team

  • Ian has an extensive commercial background, with over 20 years; experience working with major banking, finance and corporate entities assessing and managing commercial and financial risk.

In the mid 90’s Ian was engaged by the State Government of Victoria to help lead the transition of a State Authority into a self-regulating State Owned Entity. Ian subsequently moved on to partner in a successful property development and construction company.

As part of Ian’s diversified interests, he also facilitated a number of innovative agricultural and regionally focussed opportunities. These projects were well regarded by the Victorian State Government which again sought to secure Ian’s commercial expertise and counsel. For almost eight years Ian acted as a conduit between industry and the State Government providing commercial perspective and policy guidance to encourage new and novel investment opportunities particularly in the area of waste to energy, bioenergy and biofuels. Ian still loves to crawl around a tennis court, make undignified attempts at watersports and watch the football with his children and his extremely patient wife.
